2.3 Getting Started

Login​

Access the IoTGateway web interface at http://localhost:518.

Default credentials: admin / iotgateway.net

Collection Configuration​

Gateway Configuration​

Configure the gateway parameters including logging, communication settings, and service options.

Device Management​

Add and manage devices with their communication parameters.

Communication Settings​

Select the appropriate driver (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, Siemens S7) and configure connection parameters such as IP address, port, baud rate, etc.

Device Variables​

Define the data points to be collected from each device, including variable name, address, data type, and polling interval.

Creating Variables​

Add variables either manually through the table interface or by importing from an Excel template.

Viewing Variables​

Monitor real-time variable values and status through the web interface.
